Firefox update hangs
If clicking the update arrow in the upper right corner of Firefox causes it to start checking for updates, but it just hangs, then perhaps you have the same problem I had. One of your extensions isn’t properly updating. To find out which one, go to Tools > Extensions and try updating each extension. When you find the one that hangs, uninstall it and restart. Or, the problem may be fixed in the extensions latest version and you just need to manually update it.
For me, the problem was Platypus, but it was fixed in 0.4. And it was this guy who pointed me to the solution.
