How I use TrueCrypt

I have TrueCrypt installed on my work laptop to protect our source code and client data.

Here’s how I did it:

Created a 10 GB file-based drive
Moved My Documents to the secure drive
Used ForcePSTPath to move my Outlook files to the secure drive
Set the default directory for Sql Server data to the secure drive and moved all databases
Moved everything else that needed protection to the secure drive

Update (5/20/09): Now I just use the whole-drive encryption. It’s easier.
