We rural folk have to put numbers on our mailboxes:

.
Some fancy homeowners like to get the stickers with the numbers italicized:

.
.
.
And other people get italicized stickers by mistake and don’t understand what happened:

Those numbers sure make it easier for an ambulance to find a house. Suburban areas tend to have the numbers on their house in inconsitent places. Leading the ambulance crew to sometimes shine a floodlight on the house or neighboring houses in search of said numbers
