Signal with your left arm
I always felt that signalling a right turn with your left arm while cycling was silly. The only reason the left-arm right-turn signal exists is because it’s the only arm a car driver can use. If you can just stick an arm out pointing in the direction you’re about to go, it’s easier for everybody.
While cycling home from work, I was passing a group of people on the sidewalk right by the road as I signaled my intent to turn right, using my right arm of course.
I immediately received a high-five from a pedestrian.
That is the last time I’ve signaled with my right arm.
